"Creating Confident Teams That Work!" Presented by Una Doyle - 28 September

After another great presentation last month from Stuart Powell on how to inspire your audience to action, we are delighted to be able to follow on with Una Doyle's fantastic new training on Team Building.

No matter what you do in life, you often need to work as part of a team in order to achieve your goals. It might be at work, as part of a voluntary group or even within your family.

When you consider different people's personalities and conditioning, the fact that any teams work is a minor miracle! Una recently asked a large group of business people how many had worked on dysfunctional teams of one form or another (that either suffered negative politics and/or didn't achieve team goals) and every single person in the room answered that they had. Obviously getting people to work together effectively is a major headache in business...

According to author Pat Lencioni, there are 5 particular dysfunctions that many teams suffer. Una will highlight these dysfunctions together with the impact a lack of confidence plays and explain how they can be overcome to get teams working together in ways that actually achieve desired results.

Una Doyle runs her own very successful coaching company, 'Confidence Gets Results Ltd', is an international speaker, was awarded British Junior Chamber 'Most Outstanding Trainer 2003' and has also appeared on local TV and radio* talking about different aspects of building confidence. She works with both private clients and in businesses to help people make changes particularly around networking, public speaking, sales and team working.

Una is a totally committed member of Yes Group North and has contributed hugely since she joined back in Aug 2003.

I am sure that we will be in for another real treat!

See you there! Bring your friends (and your team managers!), 7pm for 7:30pm start.

* Next appearance, BBC Radio Leeds, Saturday 24 Sep, 9am (ish - you never know with this these things and it's live too)
